Yunam Peak is nestled at an altitude of 6111 m above sea level. It is one of the rarer highly recommended treks in Himachal. Yunam Peak is situated near the famous Baralacha La Pass in the Lahaul district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a difficult trek that is recommended to experienced trekkers only. You have prior high-altitude trekking experience to do this trek in Himachal.

Yunam Peak trek is a 25 km long trek that offers you to witness a beautiful view when you reach the summit and you can experience a unique peace and

joy while you enjoy this thrilling activity. The scenic beauty of the place will take away your heart.

Yunam Peak offers amazing views of the C.B Range and the Mulkilla Range with views stretching as far as Zanskar. The highest motorable road of the state ends in Baralacha La, which is located only a few kilometres from Yunam base camp, where the pathways of Ladakh, Spiti, and Lahaul intersect. Yunam is located in that side of Himachal where the mountains are terrifyingly rugged and sparse in greenery. Yunam Peak trek is starts from Manali which is one of the most popular town in Himachal Pradesh.

Best time to visit Yunam Peak Trek
The July to September are the best months to undertake the Yunam Peak Expedition. The weather remains pleasant at this time. In early July you will witness much snow and in late September the weather will become colder.

Day 1: Manali 2050 mtrs to Keylong 3156mtrs / Jispa 3200mtrs
Day 2: Keylong / Jispa to Bharatpur 4700mtrs
Day 3: Acclimatization Day
Day 4: Bharatpur 4700mtrs to Base Camp 5258mtrs
Day 5: Base Camp Acclimatization
Day 6: Base Camp to Summit Unam Peak (6111)mtrs and Back to Base Camp
Day 7: Base Camp to Bharatpur to Manali

Program ( 7 days )

  • Day 1

    Manali 2050 mtrs to Keylong 3156mtrs / Jispa 3200mtrs

    Arrival at Manali, start your drive to Keylong which is 100 km or drive to Jispa which is 120 km from Manali. After reaching Keylong / Jispa, check-in to the camps. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp in Keylong / Jispa.

  • Day 2

    Keylong / Jispa to Bharatpur 4700mtrs

    After breakfast, start your drive to Bharatpur which is located 90 / 80 km. After reaching Bharatpur, check-in to the camps have your lunch takes some rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Bharatpur.

  • Day 3

    Acclimatization Day

    After breakfast, get ready for a small hike for better acclimatization drink good amount of water, keep body hydrate. Dinner and overnight stay at Bharatpur.

  • Day 4

    Bharatpur 4700mtrs to Base Camp 5258mtrs

    After breakfast, start your trek to Base Camp. After reaching the base camp, check-in to the camps and enjoy the beautiful surrounding. Dinner and overnight stay at the Base Camp.

  • Day 5

    Base Camp Acclimatization

    After breakfast, ready for the summit briefing and training. Go for a small hike and explore nearby areas. Dinner and overnight stay at Base Camp.

  • Day 6

    Base Camp to Summit Unam Peak (6111)mtrs and Back to Base Camp

    Wake up early in the morning have your breakfast and start your trek to summit. After reaching the summit explore the beauty of the place and trek back to the Base Camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Base Camp.

  • Day 7

    Base Camp to Bharatpur to Manali

    After breakfast, start your trek to Bharatpur. After reaching Bharatpur, drive to Manali. Our services will be finished at Manali.

TREKKING INCLUSIONS

  • Camping:-tents, sleeping bags, mats.
  • Food:- breakfast, lunch hot and packed, dinner.
  • Kitchen tents, dinning tents, toilet tents and utensils for cooking.
  • All necessary permission and camp fees.
  • First aid kit, stretcher and oxygen cylinder.
  • Qualified:- guides, cook and assistant staff.
  • Transport included.
  • Mules and horses provide to carry central and clients bags.

 

TREKKING EXCLUSION

  • Not allowed to take alcohol during the trek
