Deo Tibba Base Camp trek, also known as the Chota Chandratal trek is one of the most beautiful treks in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh. The trail of this trek is highly varied and is home to diverse flora and fauna. Mt. Deo Tibba is visible through the entire trail of the trek. Other peaks like Indrasan and the glaciers of Jagatsukh and Deo Tibba are also visible. The maximum altitude gained during Deo Tibba is 14,698 ft (approximately). Best time to do Deo Tibba base camp is between May to October.

Day 1: Delhi/Chd – Haripur, Manali
Day 2: Manali/Haripur to Chikka 2050 mtr.
Day 3: Chikha – Seri (3200 m)
Day 4: Seri – Tainta
Day 5: Tainta – Deo Tibba Base and Chota Chandertal (4200m)
Day 6: Tainta – Chikka
Day 7: Chikka – Jagatsukh – Haripur

Program ( 6 days )

  • Day 1

    Delhi/Chd – Haripur, Manali

    Start your tour after reaching Patlikuhl from Delhi and get picked up from the bus stand. Reach the base Haripur and explore the place after a delicious breakfast. Explore the Nahar and return to the base.
    Enjoy the evening with a bonfire and chat with your team.
    Overnight at the campsite.

  • Day 2

    Manali/Haripur to Chikka 2050 mtr.

    We will Start drive to Jagatsukh ,12 hazar Rd around the 9am clock then trek through the thick pine forest and along the narrow Allain Nullah while witnessing the vivid wildlife of this region. You can listen the murmuring sounds of river which is by self attach to the nature and panoramic stay overnight at Chikka.

  • Day 3

    Chikha – Seri (3200 m)

    After a crunchy breakfast trek through the uphill of the birch forest.
    Enjoy the fabulous view of the treeline while at the campsite at Chikha.
    Feel refreshed while trekking through the forest and enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of this region.
    Overnight at Chikha.

  • Day 4

    Seri – Tainta

    Start your morning with a crunchy breakfast.
    Start trekking through the easy roads till you reach the streams from where you pass the uphill boulders.
    Reach your campsite on a moraine.

  • Day 5

    Tainta – Deo Tibba Base and Chota Chandertal (4200m)

    Trek through the uphill f the moraine and marvel at the sights of the valleys at Mt. Deo Tibba.
    Enjoy the stunning view of the Chota Chandertal with a beautiful small mountain lake.
    Return to your base camp at Tainta.

  • Day 6

    Tainta – Chikka

    Start your return trek to the base camp while enjoying the mesmerizing views.
    Hike through the forest and pass your campsite at Seri.

  • Day 7

    Chikka – Jagatsukh – Haripur

    Trek back to Jagatsukh from where you will be picked up and drop at Haripur.
    Overnight at Haripur.

TREKKING INCLUSIONS

  • Camping:-tents, sleeping bags, mats.
  • Food:- breakfast, lunch hot and packed, dinner.
  • Kitchen tents, dinning tents, toilet tents and utensils for cooking.
  • All necessary permission and camp fees.
  • First aid kit, stretcher and oxygen cylinder.
  • Qualified:- guides, cook and assistant staff.
  • Transport included.
  • Mules and horses provide to carry central and clients bags.

 

TREKKING EXCLUSION

  • Not allowed to take alcohol during the trek
  • Any kind of individual expenses.
  • No extra food item will be provided during the drive and trekking.
  •  No smoking and intoxicants allowed.
  • Carry your own prescribed medicines.
