We are going to let you know about the “WILDERNESS BACKPACKERS” this is young and enthusiastic  company at Manali . This company is located at “village Batahar post office Haripur tehsil and district Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The company belongs to ”Sunder Kaistha” who is the resident of BATAHAR. I am in business since 1996. When I was sweet sixteen when I stepped in this field as assistant guide on Hamta Baralacha la trek with British people. From that time adventure came in my mind.

Again, my age right now is 44. In this precious tenure I learned much about the adventure. After long time I have registered a company “WILDERNESS BACKPACKERS” I have built this company with my hard work, sweat and hard work. I am not that much financially strong. I have worked with many people without payment to learn in this adventure field.

Now I want to promote and enhance my business in the market. I also completed my education with many difficulties circumstances.  I earned some money by working hard with people, after that I did a mountaineering course. Slowly I started earning money and that made my livelihood little easy.   I tried to do more and more practically as I have so many years of experience in this field.

Hamata baralacha la, Hamta Chatru, Chandertal trek, Deo Tibba Base, Hamta Circle, Bhrigu Trek, Beaskund, Bara Bhanghal Trek, Rani Sui Trek, Fungni Top, Bubu Pass, Lug Valley, Bijli Mahadev Trek, Malana Chanderkani Trek, Purkuni Trek, Shirgun Tungu Trek.  Most of these treks are in our Greater Himalaya, Dhauladhar Range, Pir Panjal Range and middle Himalaya.

I have done many climbing expeditions with friends and clients like Deo Tibba Expedition, Jagat Sukh Peak, Norbu Peak, Pahakounda Peak. Hunumaan Tibba, Shitidhar, Friend ship and Inderasan Peak base. Some of them are in Lahuol Spiti like Yunam and Kanamo.

I have experience in camps and corporate tours also. I run now many school programmes these based on different types of learning  and teach them skills about the wilderness and outdoor. HIMALAYAN vagabond adventure in this company we run the Wilderness program in which we teach them about the experience learning, leadership skills, personal growth and expedition planning. Also we teach them outdoor skills, eco tourism.

We try to teach the peoples who are interested on the program about flora and fauna.

Avalanche search and rescue certified. We made rescue in Manali and Himachal Pradesh. We have done Cycling, Motor bike and Safari expeditions in our surroundings. I have done many social work with local peoples. I have participated in many tourism seminars.
